Method No. 1
Sign out of bank website from all computers
Make sure that no one is using the same credentials to log in.
Once you do that, login to the bank website as an administrator
Method No. 2
Open Google Chrome and click on the three dots that you see on the top right corner.
Delete all the browsing history including the Cache as well
Now login again to your bank website
You will be able to login successfully if not, move to the next method.
Method No. 3
Run QuickBooks Desktop and go to the Tools
Now, click on Online Centre.
Select Financial Institution and click on the option you want to choose
Press CTRL+F3
Again go to the Online Centre and the click on Contact Info.
Refresh the Financial Institution.
You will see the profile information appear in Needs QuickBooks Updating
Click on Update/Send
Enter the password if required
Once again update your account. The issue must have been resolved, if not then go to the next method.
Method No. 4
Click on the Start button and type Command in the search option and then hit Enter
Type Regedit in the black box that has appeared
Choose the error 179 related key
Save the key information
Create a file and provide it a desired name
Choose .reg extension and save it
Once you made the backup of QuickBooks Registry, try to login again into the bank website to check whether the problem is solved or not
