PlayStation 4 owners can't access Fortnite accounts on Switch

Update: Sony has addressed the widespread complaints around the lack of cross-play relating to the PS4 and Switch versions of Fortnite, along with the issues PS4 owners have faced accessing their Epic accounts on Nintendo's device.

However, the statement (per The Verge) is unlikely for being welcomed by those affected, since it largely side-steps the reason its customers feel aggrieved. Instead, Sony emphasised the size on the PlayStation 4 audience along with the fact that Fortnite can always be played with PC and mobile users. Here's the statement completely:"

"We're always ready to accept hearing exactly what the PlayStation community is interested in to Buy Fortnite Items and improve their gaming experience. Fortnite is already a tremendous hit with PS4 fans, offering a real free-to-play experience so gamers can start and play online.

"With 79 million PS4s sold around the world plus more than 80 million monthly active users on PlayStation Network, we've built a tremendous community of gamers who are able to play together on Fortnite and many types of online titles. We also offer Fortnite cross-play support with PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices, expanding an opportunity for Fortnite fans on PS4 to use even more gamers on other platforms in https://www.mmoah.com/fortnite .”
