Ingredients

  • Semolina (rava) ¼ cup 
  • Pineapple (finely chopped) ¼ cup 
  • Ghee 3 tbsp 
  • Raw sugar ¼ cup 
  • Cashews (powdered)1 tbsp 
  • Hot water ½ cup 

Method:

  • Clean the semolina by checking for impurities like stone or grit.
  • Place a kadai on gas, add the ghee and roast the cashew until golden brown.
  • Add the semolina and roast the semolina until golden brown and toasty.
  • Add the raw sugar to the semolina.
  • Add the finely chopped pineapple.
  • Add hot water and mix.
  • Cook till the semolina is cooked. You can add a little more hot water if you need it. Once done, switch off the gas. Serve warm or at room temperature.
