Our In-Depth Review Of HTC U10 Release Date Of Price And Specifications

Just now calling HTC 10, this new phone can beat the S7, G5 and P9 with new cameras, audio and design. This is our in-depth HTC 10 review.

HTC 10 Comprehensive Review

The competition for the best mobile phones in 2016 is underway, and HTC has launched a challenger to other smartphones.

Abandoning a letter followed by a trend of numbers, this is our in-depth HTC 10 comment. See also: HTC 10 UK release date, price, specifications and new features, as well as HTC 10.

HTC has been hyping up and launching the slogan "The Power of Ten Countries" for several weeks, not only because this phone is called HTC 10. It also represents the decade of building a smartphone and the perfect score - the bar is high Lift up high.

Starting from January 24th in the UK, HTC 10 is receiving a wireless update for Android Nougat 7.0, which is good news for those who get a mobile phone through the Galaxy S7, which is not yet fully available on the Galaxy S7.

Price And Competition

HTC 10 is now available for £569 directly from HTC, which is a bit higher than we expected and matches other smartphones.

Design And Construction

Although the HTC 10 uses a clear design pattern - it is basically the same size and shape as its predecessors - but some adjustments need to be noted.

There isn't much change in the back, the new key feature is a similar look and feel, and the diamond cuts the chamfered edge around the phone. It looks great, giving the metal body a two-tone effect and a good feel. There is no doubt that picking up the HTC 10 is made of solid metal.

Hardware And Specifications

It is increasingly difficult for handset manufacturers to improve and upgrade their equipment to make them better than ever (we don't envy their location). In many areas, we have reached the point where technology has not yet developed further, and sometimes you can say that it does not need it better.

While HTC 10 may only match competitors in many major areas, it does improve the HTC One M9 in a variety of ways. As usual, we have stimulated, tested and tested HTC 10 in every area - we divided the hardware and specification sections into smaller pieces so that you can read the parts that are most concerned.

Screen

The company finally raised the resolution to Quad HD (1440x2560), and we are also very satisfied, so the HTC 10 has a pixel density of 564ppi. The display is also very crisp and bright, but the contrast is not as good as the competition; the display shows white and black on the gray side.

HTC doesn't always follow the road (even after you turn off the screen), but does say that the screen is the fastest and the fastest - a 50% higher than its predecessor means it feels faster, no matter what other components upgrade. So far, the display really makes us very easy to accept.

Processor, RAM And Benchmark

The HTC 10 is a popular choice for 2016 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. This is a healthy 4GB memory backup and we found no problems after receiving the review sample.
It may be partly related to the responsiveness of the screen, but the HTC 10 feels very good looking. Although the benchmark score is slightly behind other phones with the same processor and RAM.

Storage And Connection

The storage matches the 32GB competitor, and HTC continues to offer scalable storage through the Micro-SD card slot, which can accept up to 2TB of capacity cards. Unlike S7 and G5, it's great to see that HTC supports Android's Adoptable Storage, which allows memory cards to be treated as internal storage.

Fingerprint Scanner

According to HTC, the fingerprint sensor is a key add-on feature to the spec sheet and works very fast - in just 0.2 seconds. Like the HTC One A9, it's located at the bottom of the screen, unlike some competitors that are a mobile button. You can add up to five fingerprints and we found it to be very accurate, although it is not always effective. If you are experiencing problems, try recalibrating.

Battery Life And Charging

HTC uses a new reversible USB Type-C port (see below), HTC 10 supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and combines the company's own technology to provide one-day use (50%) and charge for 30 minutes. It needs to be clear that the battery is still not removable - the LG G5 is currently the flagship product that mainly provides this feature.

You can only charge the 3000mAh battery through the USB port because there is no wireless charging. We both like it, but HTC tells us that it thinks faster charging is more convenient than missing wires. Using the included charger, we found that the HTC 10 was charged to 45% in 30 minutes and reached full load in only 64 minutes, which was impressive.

Audio

The new "Bold Standard Audio" section on HTC 10 features the new Boom Sound Hi-Fi version. Although the speaker is no longer facing forward, there is a tweeter on the top and a subwoofer on the bottom.
