Our Australian main herb supplier is passionately committed to producing the medicinal quality, certified organic herbs we use from their Maldon herb farm and network of dedicated certified organic growers throughout Eastern Australia.

Most crops are produced throughout Victoria, however the 30 certified organic growers cover from northern Queensland to Southern Tasmania. This is because each climate provides the best conditions for a different selection of herbs to thrive, for example Lemongrass in the North, Chamomile in the South and Hypericum/St John's Herb in Central Victoria.

Most growers select eight to 10 medicinal herbs which suit their operation best – these may be flower, leaf, berry or root crops.

David decocts these strong and vital herbs to make his signature potent, concentrated plant extracts that define Simplicité products. He teams these with high-activity, practitioner-quality aromatherapy essences and Australian bush flower essences.

In the late 1980s David met then top TV newsreader and journalist Robin - and literally saved her skin. David prescribed Robin his early clinic version of the top selling Simplicité product Damask Rose Day Creme. Patches of red sensitive skin on Robin’s face that had troubled her for months vanished overnight. David says, “She’d stripped and dried out her skin by long term use of harsh skin care products. Her TV job with its stress and heavy makeup didn't help. Then she came to see me as a patient, used my cream instead of the steroid that hadn't worked - her skin recovered in no time.”David and Robin hit it off and married a few years later, by which time they were making nutrient-rich Simplicité products, just for themselves initially.
