Michael Porter Jr. isn’t about to compare himself for the other rookies in their class.
The 20-year-old forward said in May he felt he was the most beneficial player in this current year’s draft. But, he’s not emphasizing proving he was right.

Seeing the progress I’m making every single day makes it pretty easy to look in there and find the work done.”
The Nuggets registered a 46-36 record in 2017-18 and handle one game behind the Timberwolves for that eighth seed inside the Western Conference. Porter said Denver is looking to advance on the postseason for that first time since 2012-13.

Porter hopes to generate an impact for Denver with the small forward spot when he causes it to become back at basketball.
“I think the young core that people have is planning to continue to recover and better. I’m likely to love becoming a part of this,” Porter said. “We form of have a great deal of guys which could play the three, however in terms of an pure scorer in the three, we don’t genuinely have that.
