Take-Two is reportedly open to NBA 2K22 MT doing the same thing with NBA2K but it's not so rapid as its other top-of-the-line titles. Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 will be playable using backward compatibility on both next-gen systems as well as the updated version of GTA V, as well as the standalone version of GTA Online, won't be out until the second half of next year.
It's due to the small number of next-gen systems that will be in people's homes. "I think it's always an intersection between taking the time needed to ensure the title is impressive, and paying attention to what the actual base of installed units looks as," says Zelnick. "The installed base will be smaller in the coming week than it was at time of the end of 2021's calendar."
Next-gen systems won't be significant in profits for Take-Two or many other publishers anytime soon. At least, not until their release schedules sync better with PS5 and Xbox Series X. Zelnick is confident about their potential to Buy MT 2K22 bring to the gaming market.
