Ever wondered what a cross between Tetris and Lemmings would look like? Well, wonder no more, 'cause... MouseCraft is here!

MouseCraft is an A to B puzzle game where players help Schrödinger, the crazy cat scientist, in completing his mysterious, mice-powered invention. Pile up Tetromino bricks to create a safe path for as many mice as possible, gather collectibles, fight enemies, use different types of blocks, blow up things and avoid environmental hazards in 80 handcrafted levels!

Very enjoyable game.
The puzzles are hard sometimes but not frustrating.
Well done.. I really wanted a mix of Lemmings and The Incredible Machine, and I think my expectations for this title were too high. It has a decent amount of polish, but I was immediately turned off by two things.

First, the way the mid-solution changes were implemented: Solutions that require mid-play changes \u00e0 la lemmings can be fun, but the number of creatures on either side of a solution were never balanced with a massive amount of input creatures and generous success requirements. There are design decisions present in the original lemmings game that the designers should have paid more attention to. Rats developing advanced behaviors in a lab \u00e0 la lemming jobs is a goldmine for neat behavior, but I didn't see that theme developed mechanically.

Second, the actual changes made to the level are boring: I wasn't entertained enough to make it past world 1, but the initial puzzles merely involve dropping or destroying tetrominos on the play field instead of something more creative. Give the player something more interesting to do than placing\/removing blocks. A fan to blow rats up several levels would accomplish the same goal as a tetromino but with more interest and future solution complications.

Maybe this gets better past the tutorial, but I'd rather spend my time on other games.. Do you like a puzzle games? Yes? So Mousecraft is for You!
Cool combination of Lemmings and Tetris will test your brain from the easiest puzzles to the really challenging ones.

Plus game have a very good and easy level editor!. Are you looking for a cute looking puzzle game and are not afraid of mice? Then look no further, you got the perfect game for an evening or more (depending on your puzzle skills).

The game includes 80 puzzles with different elements you have to unlock on the way, like electrocute, T.N.T., acid, ...
Also included is a level editor. Too bad without Steam Workshop, so no Library with user created puzzles but only your own or those sent to you by your friends.. Okay, so you've got to get your mice from their hamster wheel to the cheese by positioning various kinds of blocks and avoiding obstacles. There's no time limit so you can sit back and carefully consider all the possible ways of achieving that goal.

The levels start out very easy and get more challenging as you progress. You'll eventually find yourself staring at the screen, running possible permutations through your head until.... "eureka!", you figure it out and feel a right smarty-pants... until you see the next puzzle.

Different kinds of Tetromino-shaped blocks are introduced throughout the game to keep it fresh and interesting. These include jelly, explosive and electric blocks. There are also water and acid hazards to add to the challenge.

The game is addictive. When I finished it I wanted to go back and gold-star every level. And when that's done there are a bunch of Achievements to be had as well. Most of them you'll get playing through the story mode, but there are others to aim for, too, like frying 10 mice!

For one of the Achievements you have to make your own puzzle in the Level Editor. You know, Nintendo are really pushing level design in games like Pushmo World, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Smash Bros and soon, Mario Maker. Well, you can do it in MouseCraft, too. It would be nice if levels could be shared via Steam Workshop instead of in the forums, but it's a minor gripe.

Overall, I really enjoyed Mousecraft and wholeheartedly recommend it to puzzle game fans.. If you mix the gameplay from Lemmings with the blocks from Tetris you can kinda guess how this game works - just to keep it in short.

Not badly made, really.. Oh dear, that was a waste of 10 quid.

Nothing like Lemmings or Tetris, and the puzzles are so simplistic that I actually started to try and make it harder for myself by not reading the instructions,

If I'd bought this for £2 on my iPad it would just about be acceptable. I can only guess that all the positive reviews have come from peole who are very easily amused, and have money to spare.. Haven't played enough just yet, but I'm not done the first section before being challenged with the puzzles. Cute animations and engaging backstory (well for me at least). I got this game in the Humble Bundle. Definitely coming back to finish all the other levels.
