Mission Impossible is a series of action films that were written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It is produced and starred by Tom Cruise. The first movie of the series was released in 1996 and was highly appreciated by the audience, followed by five other parts. All the six parts received an excellent response from the critics and the people as it involves thrill and action. Also, it became the 16th highest-grossing series of all time.


The theme music of the series has become the iconic creation, and the composers behind the same are Lalo Schifrin, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.

The next two parts of the series were announced in January 2019 by Cruise, who were to be shot back-to-back. Unfortunately, the production activity was called off due to the pandemic. The assistant director, Tommy Gormley, announced that its production activity is likely to resume in September. “We were days from shooting in Venice- everything was right at the epicenter when it all kicked off,” Gormley mentioned.

No details are out, but the star cast of the seventh part of the series will revive you, as it includes Tom Cruise, Nicholas Hoult, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Simon Pegg, Henry, Vanessa Kirby, and Rebecca Ferguson.

The series of Mission Impossible revolves around an agent named Ethan, who is a member of the Mission Impossible Force. Every part of the series unfolds a new mission that is expected to be resolved by Hunt. The next part is also likely to come up with a new mission, and the movie will be released in 2021. However, the eighth installment will be released in 2022.

The first six parts of the series successfully won a corner in its viewer’s hearts and did exceptionally well at the box office. However, Tom Cruise comes up with new energy in every sequel, the upcoming parts are also expected to release with a whole new level of concept and action.
