15 year old Megan Shephard and her parents will do anything to save their struggling farm. When the family discovers a wild stallion in a nearby forest they begin to wonder if this could be the answer to their prayers. Kris Kristofferson and Joedelle Ferland star in this heartwarming and inspiring tale that celebrates the spirit of family and the amazing courage and determination it takes to defeat all odds.
An interesting idea, likely done before about a farmer with a love for horses and heavily in debt to the bank who finds a stallion in a field, talks to it, trains it and gets it to run in a race. You can almost guess the end, but I would argue this is one of those movies for ALL the family, no foul language, good entertainment, hardships on every side, but worth watching for the end result..enjoy - we did!
It actually is,believe it or not, better than some of the offerings on Redbox, but overall it really is bad. I thought Kris Kristofferson was dead, and as it turns out HE IS, it's just that someone has neglected to share that information with him so he can just fall down !

The story is thinner than horse hair and if the acting had been any worse I'd say this was made for someone's junior college film class in New Hampshire.

I wouldn't dare write a spoiler for this film, it was spoiled pretty much after the opening credits. I would hate to think someone actually had a straight face when they sold this story to someone and actually went to the trouble of casting, filming, editing, promoting and sitting back to watch all the positive reviews.
