You do on your project it saves you a ton of time you can correct errors early on and I'm just going to show you where I get the material that I use to practice and warm-up as well as to make these I get it Metal corner brackets from weld metals online I've been a customer of theirs for a while and almost all of the welds that you've seen on my for several months have been made using their products they ship out quickly Metal Corner Brackets and I've been able to work out a deal with them where Tim welds viewers can actually get 10 per cent off so check out that link down in the description below if you want a good place to get some weld practice material so I'm running this test weld here and as I work my way along I started off with 55 amp setting I can see that it's running a little bit hot and so I'm gonna just dump it down about eight amps see how that works and that's working out pretty well. Large metal corner brackets, Metal corner brackets for wood, Heavy-duty metal corner brackets, Long metal corner brackets, Metal corner brackets Screwfix, Decorative metal corner brackets, Corner brace brackets, L brackets.

Outdoor screws Screwfix, Railway sleeper brackets, Screwfix railway sleeper brackets, Railway sleeper brackets b&q. So I think I'm ready to go now I did this just normal and so I think that I could go ahead and just run right on this corner but I'm going to show you another trick that you can use I'm going to do this just as some insurance because it's pretty easy to burn through when you're stick welding on sheet metal so I'm going to take this aluminium bar and I use these as chill bars for tig welding sometimes especially with stainless steel where you want to get a lot of heat out but you can use it for stick welding this trick works there too I just clamp it there in the corner and the aluminium conducts heat so quickly that if your arc or weld pool Outdoor Screws bumps down through there into it it's not going to melt that aluminium it's just going to conduct the heat away and that's going to help you out to keep you from burning through.

So I'll go ahead and weld each of these corners up as I weld I'm having to move along at a pretty good clip just to keep everything together but it's actually going pretty nicely and as we take a look Outdoor Screws underneath the slag you know the weld doesn't look too bad for a 6013 weld on the corner of some sheet metal using just about the cheapest welding machine that you can pick up off amazon so you know it shows what's possible but you know I'm going to still clean it up a little bit with the grinder you know what they say grinder and paint make me the welder I ain't and then I'll go ahead and shoot a little bit of black on here and this is going to be ready to go now I thought it would be interesting since we used these basic tools and I need two of these products that we're making here.
