One of the questions that is most often asked about A Course in Miracles is whether or not meditation is part of the curriculum. While Jesus would hardly seek to discourage meditation, he does caution students not to make their meditations a source of dependency.

When we are experiencing strong emotions and overwhelming thought patterns it a course in miracles may seem impossible to quiet the mind and listen to the Voice of God. These guided meditations can help you find the peace and quiet you need in order to heal yourself from painful thoughts, fearful perceptions, ego needs, unloving self concepts, and judgments about others.
Love Yourself

The self-love practice of meditating on positive thoughts can be an excellent way to cultivate confidence. Meditation can also be an effective technique for overcoming negative feelings, such as anxiety or depression.

The most important thing is to make sure that you are practicing self-love on a consistent basis. This can be done through a variety of activities, including exercising and eating well.

Another good way to cultivate self-love is to practice gratitude. Studies have shown that expressing gratitude can increase your level of happiness by up to 20 percent.

It can also help you overcome negative messages that you might have received in childhood, such as being told you are dull or boring. These messages may have shaped your perception of yourself and how you feel about yourself, even if the reality is that you are actually very beautiful.

When you are faced with a situation that challenges your self-confidence, try to remember all of the ways that you are beautiful and strong. Focus on the effort you have put into your life and how far you have come.

Incorporating these techniques into your daily routine will help you love yourself more and grow stronger in the process. This can be done with just a few minutes of meditation or by incorporating a more challenging method into your practice.

It can be difficult to find time to practice self-love, especially when you’re already doing so much for others. However, if you prioritize yourself and your needs first, you will be better equipped to care for the people who rely on you most.
Comfort in Loss

If you are a Christian, reading Scripture about grief can be a great way to find comfort when it feels hard to cope. It can also help you put your feelings into words that you may not have been able to articulate before.

Whether you are going through grief from the death of a loved one, or if you are mourning the loss of a job, relationship or health, Scripture is a powerful tool for healing and renewal. Below, we’ve compiled some of the most helpful Bible verses to share with someone who is grieving.

It can be difficult to understand what you are feeling when you are grieving, but you have an inner guide that knows exactly how you feel and what you need. This can be especially helpful during miracles meditation, which is the practice of being still and listening to your inner guidance.

Ask for Relief

The best way to start is by letting your imagination run wild. You might be surprised by the sheer number of possible meditation and relaxation scenarios. In the course of a few minutes you may find yourself at the zenith of your being if you’re lucky. Having a supportive community around can make all the difference. To that end, I’ve assembled a virtual support group to help you navigate through your tumultuous times. This will be your best friend for the duration of this e-course. The goal is to tame your inner demons so you can shine in the sun.
Be Still and Listen

It’s easy to become frantic and overwhelmed, but it’s important to take some time to be still and listen. Spending just 9 to 15 minutes a day in meditation can help you focus, relax, and feel more peaceful throughout the rest of your day. It can also show you miracles that are all around you if you’re open to them.

The psalmist encourages godly people to “be still” in order to hear the voice of their Creator and to trust in him. It’s tempting to ally ourselves with foreign powers or rely on military strength, but these things are not our ultimate security and they will only lead us into trouble if we ignore our faith in God.

Christians often interpret the command to be still as a suggestion to meditate or to quiet in God’s presence, but it’s more accurate to understand that it means to stop fighting. Like Isaac in Genesis 22, being still means to step away from life’s demands and to surrender to God’s will.

Taking time to be still and listen can be a daunting task, especially if you’re busy with work, school, or family. But investing in this time can have a huge impact on your life.

In fact, it can be the best resource you have for bringing more love into your life. It can help you to release blocks and obstacles, overcome challenges, and choose love over fear.

This course is a guide to training your mind and emotions to experience the metaphysical ways of the universe in a way that will help you bring your true divine nature to full expression and intimacy, right into your hands, homes, hearts, and minds. It is a fun gentle way to get in touch with your intuition, spiritual guidance, referenced to as the Holy Spirit or better known as the Wholly Spiritual Universe.
See Someone’s Light

Seeing a person’s light during meditation is something that many people experience, and it can be quite helpful when you’re trying to manifest a specific outcome. This is because it shows that the energy in that person’s body is moving in the right direction. It’s also a sign that the universe is supporting you. It can be scary to see this in the beginning, but it’s actually quite normal and will pass eventually if you continue to practice.

You can start by having a partner stand about 10 feet away from you and have them have a completely blank, white wall behind them. Then, ask them to sway from side to side. This will help them to create an image of their aura around their body. Then, have them look at a part of the wall a few inches away from their body and try to see an area that may appear lighter than the rest. This will give you a good idea of the color and shape of their aura.

Lastly, you can also have your partner close their eyes and let their mind be calm. Then, they will likely begin to see golden or violet lights coming through their mind and body. These colors are often a sign from the universe that you’re healing and that good things are coming your way. They’re also a reminder that you’re on your path to spiritual transformation. They’re also a powerful way to manifest your intent. You can try this with any person you’d like to heal, but it will be easier if they’re a friend or loved one.
