Wow they must have really hated Luxor 1, because they changed absolutely everything. It's still a Zuma clone, but the graphics and gameplay have all changed. I've only played a few levels so far, but first impression tells me that it's still fun, but the ball speed and rate of fire are way too slow. Even with the "speed ball" powerup it's slow compared to Luxor 1 & zuma.. It's alright. As far as "shoot coloured balls to make chains", The Zuma series is better. Nice options for different targeting aides. Sometimes I just wanna watch youtube while i overstimulate myself with a game, so I just set it to beam targeting. Not fond of the way many levels put "dead areas" where you can't shoot.. This game is fanstastic!!!! i like it.. Freezes my goddamn system. Mmm. naah, it doesn't get a pass from me. For a puzzle game, it's just too basic. It really doesn't do anything different.. This game is fanstastic!!!! i like it.. It's not a casual game as announced by the devs. As you advance in the levels, they become longer and the speed increases. So it's more a shooter based on match-3 concept.. NOTE: Most of my fairly long play time is unrecorded due to it being offline. This is just as good as the 1st Luxor game, but with improved graphics, cool new power ups (in addition to the old ones), and cool new effects within the levels themselves.. what a waste it lets you gain a good score then gives you no chance of going any further. Can you match colored balls of poop being pushed by a dung beetle before it reaches the hole at the end? Also this takes place in Egypt. There are a half dozen more Luxor games, I'd recommend a later one if you're looking for this style of game.
