She described these dictations as coming from an interior style that recognized itself as Jesus Christ. Schucman initially resisted these experiences, but with Thetford's support, she started transcribing the communications she received.

Around a period of seven decades, Schucman transcribed what can become A Course in Miracles, amounting to three amounts: the Text, the Workbook for Students, and the Information for Teachers. The Text lays out the theoretical foundation of the program, elaborating on the core concepts and a course in miracles principles. The Workbook for Students includes 365 classes, one for every single time of the entire year, designed to steer the audience via a day-to-day training of using the course's teachings. The Information for Educators gives more guidance on how best to realize and show the principles of A Program in Wonders to others.
