Beaufort (Kerry) V Easkey (Sligo)

The Beaufort Manager says his team have shown great character when faced with difficult situations along the road to this weekend’s AIB All-Ireland Junior Club Football Final.
There was a better showing from Red Hugh’s from the second-half and 2 points over three minutes of the restart, such as a yummy score by Odhran Doherty, cut Easkey’s lead to 2 factors, 0-7 to 0-5.

However, the match’s only goal — if James Lindsay netted from Eugene Mullen’s aid — abandoned Red Hugh’s with a lot of to do.

Easkey just scored once again following their target — Joe McHugh’s purpose — but sterling work in their own defence, which comprised Sligo’s Nestor Cup-winning captain from 2007, Noel McGuire, maintained Red Hugh’s at bay.
Eanna O’Malley’s side will face Easkey of Sligo in Croke Park on Saturday after already been pushed all the way in the Munster final and All-Ireland semi-final.

He’s not entirely sure of how his opponents will set themselves up but he expects his own team will revert to a traditional style of play.
