We are looking for an experienced electro-mechanical design whiz to help push our battery packs into the future. You will be responsible for designing and testing high volume electronics assemblies in the battery pack space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in the industry including microcontroller firmware a plus (C language) and advanced packaging technologies.

Lithium Ion Battery

Unlike nickel cadmium (NiCad) batteries, lithium ions have very high energy density. This enables batteries to provide much more current per unit of weight.

Lithium ion batteries are also very environmentally friendly. The technology can be recycled and reused to produce new batteries.

The batteries can be stored in a cool place for up to six months to avoid overheating.

Smaller sized batteries can be recharged at home. They can also be disposed of by slamming the red battery transport cap to disengage the battery from its tool.
