Adobe Lightroom Presets is a software developed by Adobe. It is photo editor software where its sole purpose is to edit images according to their tones, hues, highlights and etc. We can bring raw photos in the lightroom and edit them according to their tones, mid-tones, highlights also, etc.

 

In Lightroom there is seven options Library, Develop, Map, Book, Slideshow, Print, and Web.

 

In the library there are all the imported images brought from the computer are kept. We can choose any file from here to edit. In the library there is also an export option so that we can export and save any image as jpg. or png. or in any other form. In Library there is a navigation panel where we can see the selected image. Under that, there is a Catalog panel where we see several options like all photographs, all synced photographs, quick collection+, and previous import.

 

Under that, we can see Folder Panel where we can see from where the images have been imported.

 

Under that, we can see the Collection folder where we can see the smart collection option under which we can see several options like colored red, five stars, past month and etc.

 

On the right side, we can see options like Histogram, Quick Develop, Keywording, Keyword list, Metadata, and Comments.

 

Then there are options like import, export, sync, and sync settings. After selecting images that need to be edited we go to Develop where we can see options for Crop, Spot removal, Red-eye correction Graduated filter, Radial Filter and Adjustment Brush tool.

 

Under these there are other options like basic in which we set the image in color or black and white then we set the temperature and tint. Then we set the Tone in which there are exposure, contrast, highlight, shadow, whites, and black. Then comes Presence under which there is texture, clarity, dehaze, vibrance, and saturation.

 

After basic, there is the option for Tone Curve in which we can set the highlights, lights, darks, and shadows in a graph.

Then comes Hue, Saturation, Luminance(HSL/Color) in this we can set the red, orange, yellow, green, aqua, blue, purple, and magenta by hue, saturation, luminance, or all at once.

 

After that, there is the option of Split toning in which we again set the highlights and shadows.

 

Then we can see the option for Detail in which we can see the sharpening option under which there are options for amount, radius, detail, and masking. In Noise reduction, we can see Luminance, detail contrast, color, detail, and smoothness.

 

In Lens Correction we can see two options which are Profile and Manual. We can choose options that are suitable for image editing, we can choose the Lens profile's make, model, and profile, then we can choose the amount. Then there is the option of Transform we can set the options as desired. Then there is an Effect in which we can set the style and highlight priority then we can set the amount, size, and roughness of the Grain. Then in Calibration, we can set the tint in Shadows and hue and saturation in Red Primary, Green Primary, and Blue Primary.

 

Then we have Mapped in this we can assign the name of the file name, copy the name, sublocation, city, state/ province, country/ region, ISO country code, GPS, altitude, direction, title, caption, date created, Intellectual Genre and IPTC SCene Code.

 

Then there is also an option for sync metadata. After this, we can see the Book option. We can see all the Book Setting options on the left side of the screen. Where we can choose from different presets. We can select a size from the menu, we can select cover, JPG quality, color profile, file resolution sharpening, and media type.

 

Then we can choose an option under the Auto layout. We can also assign page numbers and add pages. We can set guides, cell, text, type, and background then we can export the book by clicking on the Export Book to whatever option you chose.

 

In Slideshow, we can make a simple slideshow from the images we have edited or any other images. From Options, we can choose Stoke Border and cast a shadow. In Layout, we can set guides.

 

In Overlay we can show any text overlaying on the slideshow, we can set rating stars and text overlay Then we have Backdrop in this we can choose color wash and add a background image by dragging and dropping an image or we can choose a background color.

Then we can assign Titles, we can give any title we want to the slideshow after that we can also assign music to the slideshow and edit the playback option accordingly. Then we have the last two options for Print and Web.

 

In print, we can choose the settings accordingly and print out any image we want. And on the web, we can change the settings and publish our work on the internet.
