It's a permanent removal from the game

What could be done about all these problems so as to make things even marginally better? All these are the suggestions I can think off the top of my head: Teach the GMs which are running our servers about the Maplestory Mesos game. Teach them how the game works, make them create their own personality in order that they get a feel of this game and how it works. Educate them maps which people utilize, channels that hackers use, important things that the whole community uses on a daily basis for both legitimate and illegitimate reasons.

Provide GMs with better, updated tools to permit them to do their job easier. To counter auto-CC, make it so they're in a position to input maps COMPLETELY unnoticed, not just invisible (many auto-CC can browse the variable that counts the amount of players on a map so invisibility does not work on them). Permit them to /locate anybody, regardless of online or offline mode. Or even better, REMOVE OFFLINE MODE ENTIRELY so people can not hide them behind.

Change the rules for gamers that are banned from the old system to something which will work in today's version of this game. Removing players out of the rankings does NOTHING in the grand scheme of all things. Hackers don't care about positions, they have. If a player is prohibited, they should not be removed from the ranks - performing so makes it easier for them to go undetected from everybody. Instead, the next opportunity rule ought to be such: first ban is removal from positions prior to the character is allowed to be logged again (3 day, 7 day, X day ban = off positions for the duration of the ban, is put back to the rankings after unbanned), and following two bans, it's a permanent removal from the game. For players who have been banned twice for hacking, their account may be prohibited permanently to guarantee they don't gain from this rule change. If they have hacked twice previously, 9.9 days out of 10, they are hacking anyways. It is time to crack down on those people once and for all.

The previous point is a bit more wishful than the others, however, the problem still stands - they're getting away with everything because the rules are far too lenient and the current ways of banning players are so obsolete (whispering people???) That something needs to change. The reason it was so notable was because they were the very first players to hit 250. If someone else hit 250 then, then yeah, I could understand where you're coming from, but this was a critical point in the server's development, and that's something which I'd assume people would understand about. Especially people that are supposed to know enough about our server to conduct MS2 Mesos.

It is not an issue of 'they did not understand Kraane and Daxi so they do not understand anything about the host', but I've an issue with GMs taking good care of servers without having ever taken a single glance at the rankings to see precisely what's going on. Within the top 100 on Reboot, there's a totally disgusting number of Kinesis and Blaze Wizard hackers, many of them having been reported through Live Chat and nothing has been done. This is readily accessible knowledge and that is exactly what I wished to say. It was only that conversation which sparked the recognition, it wasn't the only thing which caused me to recognize that they didn't reveal much understanding of the match.
