This lets restaurants to serve more guests in quick time, thereby augmenting their revenue.

Ltd., HP Inc., SPECTRA Technologies Holdings Co. Ltd., Bitel Co. Ltd., Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Touch Dynamic, and Lenovo Group Limited are offering an array of products to incite consumers interest.

Ltd. introduced a near field communication (NFC)-integrated contactless solution for mobile devices for payment acceptance, in October 2019, in partnership with Mobeewave Inc., a contactless mobile card payment firm. This device allows customers to make payments by tapping their Google Pay or Apple Pay or Samsung Pay wallets or contactless debit or credit cards. Similarly, in November 2019, Posera Ltd. introduced a new Maitre'D POS mobile system that is powered by Quest POS tablet series. This system supports a variety of processes at restaurants like ordering and digital payments.

Geographically, Asia-Pacific (APAC) deployed the highest number of mPOS devices in 2019, due to the expansion of the retail, healthcare, and hospitality sectors in the region. These industries are growing on account of the robust economic growth in India and China. The region is also expected to generate the fastest demand for such terminals in the foreseeable future, as the retail sector of APAC is the most productive in the world. Additionally, high preference for contactless payments among APAC nations will add to the demand for such devices.
