Simples, mas completo: tem exploração, looting, inventário, armas, lojas de itens, combates e até mesmo uma história de cada personagem.. It's fun. If the setting and gameplay style appeals to you just based upon the summary on the store page, you'll more than likely enjoy it. There's no suprises in the gameplay - it's choose your own adventure with RPg elements + a combat system and some dice rolling when scavenging. The writing and character designs are good, combat is an interesting card-based situation that starts out pretty rough with a short power-creep cycle where you'll be unstoppable after spending 3~ hours scavenging and doing side quests. Art is fantastic and really fits the setting. Translation is generally alright, writing might have felt a little less shallow at certain points in the original language.

It's short. I did everything I could find in the game towards a single ending, and it took about 7 hours. Would probably take 3-4 if you rushed through the main story. Usually I don't mind that, I just found myself wishing it was longer - which is a good sign, generally, but it felt like it ended at a point where interesting new mechanics and goals could have been added. But nope, just an epilogue. I'd play a sequel, though.

Worth the full $10 I'd say, but if you find it on sale, definitely get it. I picked it up for like $2.. Wow, this grabs you by the knackers and doesn't let go!
Great atmosphere a few decent twists on the usual interactive experience ... the dynamic quality mood music is one!
Really impressed; as I've been buying a few of these types of 'games' so I can amuse myself on my laptop, talking of which I am a bit frustrated by the game not being synced to the cloud... instead your progress is saved locally: very annoying if you are using multiple devices.
It's on special atm so I would URGE you to buy this quality title... 7.5/10 (Would be 8.5 but the local save is annoying).. This is probably a great game - the concept sounds great, the reviews are mostly great, but like a rare few others I am not able to play after the deer-hunting intro bit. The music continues to play but the screen goes black and all I can do is quit, restart, play the same 2 minutes, rinse, repeat. Playing on Macbook with OS X 10.14.4 well above spec. For that reason I have to give a negative.. S'posed to be good but... :(. The game is an interesting approach to video games, part visual novel, part adventure, it actually does show a believable post-apocalyptic ice age world. Can I recommend it? Unfortunately, for Mac users, I cannot. The normal version is bugged for mac. After you shoot the deer, the world map remains black. You can still play the game by changing the game version to the "legacy" version. It seems to work fluidly enough. Only once did the game crash when I started it.

Unfortunately, there is a bug late in the game, where a dialogue option doesn't appear.
I chose to support Boris and the rebels in Eden, but when I stopped the rebels from being killed and returned to Boris, I did not get the dialogue option to advance the quest. Thus, I cannot finish the main quest. That was game-breaking for me. Perhaps I'll go back and try to solve the quest another way. I don't know if that'll work.

Apart from that, I liked the game well enough, though I wouldn't call it something very special. The atmosphere fits. The characters are varied enough and also don't all get along just because you want them to. Still, I got the feeling that they weren't all truly fleshed out enough. The backstory remained slightly shallow. There was more potential in that, which unfortunately wasn't realized. The crafting system is very basic, as is the combat. Don't expect deep strategy or varied crafting options going in. The map isn't all that big either. After a short while you should have explored everything. The encounters also repeat after a while and while there are skill checks, if you figure out the right choice then you'll always be able to succeed in the encounters. At least I didn't fail even once. Also, the game is fairly short. After 8 hours of leisurely playing I was almost at the end, so don't expect epic lengths here.. A charming little rogue-lite.

The basic gameplay loop is familiar from similar post-apocalyptic titles: move around, scrounge for food and materials you can use for crafting, avoid fights is possible. There is a nice backstory going on which drives the game, unlike true rogue-likes. The portraits look good, the dialogues are well-written, and combat is not bad. There is RPG-style character development and choice-based mini-adventures.

. Tagged as RPG | Interactive | Survival, it (apparently) is a complete remastering of ICY which was met with mixed reviews. The developers took the feedback to heart and revamped the game.

No manual or guides that I could find so you have to figure things out on your own, though the beginning is presented as a tutorial.

The atmosphere is great and the dialogue choices at the very least give the impression of meaningful choices. Battle is turn-based for each party; individuals do not attack. This means that, based on selected weapons and individual capabilities, different attacks and combos are available. Combining those combos (up to 4) determines the action. For example, an arrow attack icon plus a wall icon results in an attack from cover. There are also combos that don't attack but buff/heal. A lack of skill or weapons results in less attacks/buffs per round.

Towns have shops and quest-givers; moving around the map has a chance of encounters. Your RPG stats set your odds of having to fight or sneak away with the loot.

Would definitely recommend at this bargain price. It's enjoyable enough to tear me away from PoE, if only for a couple of nights.
