I can get a sneak peek at what the group has in store

I think this query rather says it allIf a SS Hitter is confronting a SS Pitcher, and all things are equal... what should happen if the hitter is PERFECT in squaring up the pitch but the pitcher can also be PERFECT in timing/accuracy on their pitch? It basically says,"If I get good-good, pitching input should not mean something, give me my home run." I'd agree ditching is becoming progressively worse as the season has gone, but I guess the majority want this sport to be more like MLB Slugfest.

When a hitter squares it up he should 100 percent get the better result. The significant pitching issue is that the ball virtually never ends up where it should despite hitting the hoop accurately. No he should not, but thank you for verifying the Slugfest theory. That is not how baseball works. If a pitcher puts the ball at a good spot/location, and get everything on his pitch (speed/spin/etc), then the pitcher usually gets the greater result. What you're saying is fantastic pitch, fantastic spot, excellent execution.... But I had been great too, give me my homer. Why? Well because.... That is the true definition of RNG, when it doesn't matter exactly what the pitcher does, only what the hitter input signals.

The pitcher generally has the better outcome on a pitch with great spot/location/etc because the batter is NOT able to square on the pitch.I believe it should be harder to get batters in the match to square up, but I also believe the batter should get the better result on a correctly squared upward swing.
