I am unsure that sums up the planned message

No worries about the grilling concern. I am just trying to be thorough in my replies. The email submission filter was seen as a low priority fix, and these articles were (and are) becoming caught in different filters, therefore it was deemed unneeded for now. However, the other filters are not specially designed for those articles, so just a portion are getting flagged. Once more of the important tasks are completed, we'll take a look at some of the lower priority ones. It would not require much time to get a setup set up to start testing an improved version. Also, the majority of subreddit moderation isn't visible openly, so although it might seem that we're not doing anything occasionally, there's a great deal that goes on behind the scenes as well as approving/removing posts and comments.

Our concern about filtering in this case isn't whether someone will try to skip this, and that remark was just to further the stage that filters aren't always effective. Perhaps mentioning the deliberate bypassing was a bit off topic for my previous comment. So far as the separation between our subreddits goes, it isn't something we are considering enforcing as of today. As previously mentioned, the amount of OSRS-specific articles (not pertinent to RS3) submitted here is minimal as is, plus they do not amount to a prominent part of our everyday posts. However, those articles are redeemed by others which compare or relate to both games.

These would probably match the criteria to also receive a reply redirecting them to 2007 Runescape when the intention was to post, which is not ideal as it would be irrelevant to the post topic and probably lead to complaints. Furthermore, when the criteria is too specific, it is improbable that the few posts which are intended to receive this reply will trigger it. It is easier for a person to identify these articles than a bot, and setting up this to work as planned is simpler said than done for minimum benefit.

Why are people so toxic to players? Wouldn't max and the high players want people with? More people = more money, more upgrades (possibly if more started playing, paying, and demanding it) and also more people in Runescape sport which will grow the economy and keep Runescape lasting more. Frankly, new players are treated by us when they are tagged as such. Dig up any thread in which the OP admits themselves new and people here actually pile on the support most of the time.

It is older, returning players who ask questions we treat poorly. Unless they're asking about the condition of Runescape(which implies they are not invested in Runescape again yet), typically we bad mouth them about how they could possibly be asking whatever it is they are asking. The neighborhood is wise. If somebody is uninvested at Runescape, everyone is support towards them. If they're already invested, no one actually cares.
