Install the Network Topology Mapper
After downloading the tool, you need to run it.

Start changing the installation directory of the Network Topology Mapper tool, and you need to go to the Options button.
To begin the installation process, press on the Install option.
After prompting the User Account Control menu, you need to press on the Yes button.
After that, let the Network Topology Mapper complete the installation process.
Once you have installed it, you will get the License prompt on the screen.
In case you already have the product license, type it by pressing on the Enter Licensing Information option.
In case you want to try a free version, then press on the Continue Evaluation option.

Scan the network
Go to the NTM welcome display.
Press on the New Scan option.
You need to press on the New Scan option.

For adding the subnet, press on the Add a New Subnet option.
In case there are any devices which you wish to discover, start adding the IP addresses which is given in the Do-Not-Scan menu list.
Press on the Next option.
By going to the Discovery Settings option, provide a name to the discovery.
In case want to discover the subnets, change the hops number.
In case you want to remove the bridge tablets, press on the ‘Don’t use Bridge Table information to calculate network topology.’
In case you want to ignore nodes, select the checkbox.
Start changing the Frequency of the discovery menu.
Press on the Next option.
Go through the summary.
After that, press on the Discover option.
The Network Topology Mapper will begin the network scanning procedure.
After completing the scanning process, you can view the network map.
