Today, many homes have central air conditioners installed, but many people do not know how to clean the fan coil. Fan coils will accumulate on the fins and impeller. When dust and bacteria accumulate to a certain thickness, it will also affect the heat dissipation, resulting in the indoor temperature not reaching the expected effect.
In addition, if the fan coil unit is not cleaned regularly, a lot of bacteria will grow. People will be in this environment for a long time. It can cause respiratory problems, so we recommend cleaning the fan coil regularly.
Cleaning Steps And Methods:
1. Remove the return air baffle and dust filter, then wash the filter with high pressure water.
2. Remove the fan roller and impeller.
3. Check the fan motor, capacitor, etc. for burning traces. If they are OK, use a brush to clean the impeller and roller housing.
4. Use HSRS-01 fin water to high pressure clean the aluminum fins. After spraying the aluminum fins, let them work for 5-10 minutes, then rinse the aluminum fins in a washing machine.
5. After cleaning the aluminum heatsink (see 2-3 rows of small copper tubes in the heatsink), properly install the fan motor and impeller in front of the fan coil to fully restore it.
6. Clean the condensate tray and add three germicidal algae flakes.
7. Put the cleaned dust filter and baffle back in place.
8. Remove the fan coil small Y filter for cleaning.
Cleaning Effect:
1. After cleaning the fan coil, the bacteria, and dust in the air supply and return air system can be removed, and the indoor air quality can be improved;
2. Reduce operating costs and increase asset value;
3. Reduce the wind resistance of the variable air volume fan coil, improve the heat exchange efficiency, increase the air supply volume, and save energy;
4. Regular maintenance of the fan coil system to prolong the service life of the unit;
