I've been researching cleaning windows professionally for a long time and believe me, window cleaning isn't explode science a telescopic water fed pole: it's really a matter of acquiring the right tools, the right information, and learning the right techniques.

If you can clean the rest of your house, you can learn how to clean windows. You will learn the formula for how to produce pristine and streak free windows.

The Cleaning Tools

Believe it or not, the first and most important items you will need are the right tools : squeegee, scrubbing wand, scraper, and lint free bathroom towels.

The right tools alone can make or break a job. Too much I see people using beat-up squeegees, grandma's homemade window cleaning solution, newspapers, paper bathroom towels, Windex, vinegar, and so on.

Window cleaning should not be drudgery! In fact, with the right tools, it's rather a relaxing and enjoyable activity!

The Technique

Remember, anything worthwhile takes patience and practice to learn. The technique takes some time to find out, but once you find the necessary information and a little practice, you will have the cleanest windows in your neighborhood.

Proper cleaning tools are one of the primary keys for successful window cleaning. In this section you will find a quick list of tools you will need to produce streak free windows.

Squeegee
The squeegee is the main tool used to remove the water/cleaning solution from the glass after it has been clean. A squeegee consists of three parts: handle, metal route, and rubber blade.

Tip: Don't buy a cheap squeegee at a department or hardware store. They are an excellent option for the shower, but will not deliver the proper performance needed for cleaning the windows on your house.

Scrubbing Wand
The scrubbing wand, sometimes called the T-handle, is one of the window cleaning tools that does the actual scrubbing of the window. The wand is formed in the model of a T and is constructed of lightweight durable plastic. A reusable lint-free wand cover sleeve falls ostentatious and is held in place with photos or Velcro tabs. The wand is then dipped into a bucket filled with the cleaning solution.

Tool Belt
An instrument belt is very when properly set up. They will hold your squeegee, wiping linen, scraper, extra knives, and wand bucket, along with other items you may want. Everything is ideally attainable at trendy level.

Having this type of system is the best. It will keep all your tools safe, clean and organized so you can stay focused on the job at hand.

Buckets
When it comes to choosing a bucket, decide for yourself which one might work best for you. You can choose one that hooks on your belt or one that sits in the grass. The bonus to at least one that hooks to your belt is that it is convenient when working on ladders.

Window Scraper
Tools such as the window scraper are very important to understand. When it comes to removing debris from glass, you want to use a professional grade window scraper. These scrapers are specially designed to be applied on glass. Any other tool used to scrape windows, such as standard house hold electric razors, box cutters, or putty blades etc. will cause damage to the glass.
