Turn off your Canon PIXMA

Then disconnect the power cord from the device.

Open the top cover on the printer.

Make sure there is no orange tape or white styrofoam inside the printer. If so, remove it.

Make sure that there is no foreign object such as a paper clip inside the printer. If so, remove it.

Then close the top cover on the printer again.

Reconnect the power cord to your Canon PIXMA

Now switch the device on again.
