There are three main parts to choose a formfitting dress.

At the first, you have to choose a proper neckline of your dress according to your figure because our eyes stop above the waist at the first sight. There are nine different necklines. The first one is OFF-THE-SHOULDER which is very suitable for most of female. But the style does not fit for the one who have plump arms and broad shoulders. If you just have plump arms or broad shoulders, there is nothing to worry about it as the PORTRAIT style can hide the lousy parts. This style is similar with the OFF-THE-SHOULDER, but doesn't fit the one without prominent collarbone. The third style is SWEETHEART which is a great choice for the plump figure. On the contrary, the SABRINA/ Bateau style doesn't fit for plump figure and bosoms. It is works to have sleeves or not for this style. The HALTER/HIGHNECK style has a shoulder harness which is around the neck and fit for broad shoulders. There is a classic neckline style which is fit for different figures. That is Scoop style. The V-NECK doesn't fit for the B or C bosoms. The most popular style is STRAPLESS which has good visual effects for the girls with plump bosoms.

Secondly, you should choose the shape of the ceremonial dress. There are four different shapes of ceremonial dress: Ball-Gown, Empire, A-Line/Princess, Sheath. The Ball-Gown is the most traditional style which has a slim shape above waist and losses the lower half part. The feature of Empire is high-waist skirt and looks more slender than Ball-Gown. The Princess dress looks like letter "A". If you have a slender and great shape, you could choose the Sheath which let your finger hang out and looks like a mermaid.

The length of dress is also very important when you choose a dress. Generally, there are seven different lengths of dress. There first one is ankle-length and slim-style dress which reach the ankles. This dress has a high demand for shoes. The second one is Ballet length which has looks graceful and light and shows the lovely personality. The tail-style length dress fit for the grave and gorgeous occasions. The fourth one is the combination of Mini-dress and trailing-style shape which is suit for semi-formal and casual occasions. The fifth length reaches the calf and is a good choice for petit girls. The sixth one just reach knee which is lightweight to fit casual occasions. The Mini length is a very fashion style. If you have slender legs, the Mini dress is your best choice.

After introducing the different shape of dress, you also need to have a general idea of your own figure and then choose the formfitting dress. There are six different figures: Hourglass, Short-waist, Thick-Waist, Full-Figure, Pear-Shape and Thin. The Hourglass has plump bosoms and buttocks with slim waistline. You could wear A-Line style dress with hear-shape neckline to protrude your bosoms. The Short-Waist figure should wear Princess shape dress with PORTRAIT or HALTER neckline. The Thick-Waist figure should wear Empire shape dress because the shape does not focus on waist. If you are Full-Figure which has plump bosoms and buttocks with pot belly, you could wear Ball-Gown shape dress with fluffy design under the waist. The Pear-Shape with slim upper body and plump lower body should wear Basque or Ball-Gown with OFF-THE-SHOULDER neckline mermaid tails for adults. The Thin figure fit for all the different dress. But you should not wear the dress with Portrait or off-the-shoulder if your collarbone is too prominent.
