How to Become a pilot
You've decided to take the leap and become a pilot! First step: the taste of flight!
The intro is arguably the flight you will never forget! It might sound basic, but it
is true. Most people will leave their intro flight with the urge to continue and might
even impulsively sign up for a pilot package on the spot. But while the intro flight
is a rush, it is also an opportunity to gauge your instructor. You want to make sure
you are comfortable with the teaching style and availability of the instructor,
comfortable with the school environment and agree with its mission. If you can, talk
to other students who are in the school or have graduated from there, ask about their
experience. This is important in the long run as it helps you avoid frustration and
keeps you motivated to stay on course to attaining your license. Ask for references
and maybe try out an intro with another school to see the difference. An intro flight
might cost anywhere from $100 to $200 which may seem steep but it could potentially
save you thousands in the end. Don't forget to bring your logbook to the flights
