Jesus was a person who reflected the Light of Christ. He reflected our actual being while the Christ, and the absolute most a body can ever be, is really a reflection of the mind.

Once the mind becomes pure and unified, it recognizes Itself while the Mind of Christ. When that Divine Mind is reflected in a body, you've a reflection of this, but a reflection is not actuality. Christ is really a Light that's prior to time.

How Can We Be Reborn In the Light of Christ Within?

We have to stop protecting the crumbling ego self-concept, and expose and release the shame that's hidden in the mind. If you have been judged as a failure, you can now say, “Well, I failed in the past for sure. a course in miracles I was a failure in the past, however it isn't me. That's not me. I'm alive. I'm reborn again in Christ. I'm fresh and clean and clear in this moment, and I have nothing regarding the self concept.”

Forgiveness we can stop protecting the crumbling image that the ego made of us.

Once we are reborn in the Light of Christ, when we give all our relationships and everything of time and space over to the Holy Spirit for His purpose, everything changes.

David: “This is the way my life has been. My experience of the dream of life has fundamentally shifted because my purpose shifted for me. It is for all us. It can't be just for this 1 or that one, because God doesn't have ‘chosen ones.' ”

Each is called, and the Course says that few choose to listen. Have you been likely to be pleased with that metaphor of “few choose to listen”? Who's got to listen? I've got to listen. I've got to follow. I've got to be the one! I've got to be the one which steps up, and says, “I'll answer the Call.” Like Neo in The Matrix became The One.

Jesus wants us to pass by the images of the entire world and to go for the Light. His goal is to take us into the vision of Christ, that is non-perceptual, to be reborn and feel anew, fresh, and alive. He wants us to be that reflection of the Light of Christ that's shining radiantly within!
