Here are five ways working out with gym exercise equipment can help you achieve your fitness goals

1. It Increases Strength

Working out with weights increases strength throughout your whole body, not just your muscles. It is why it's essential to do complexes—a series of exercises that use more than one muscle group at a time—instead of only doing isolated exercises. Doing complex will help you burn more calories and increase your overall endurance.

2. It Improves the Balance

Balance is vital for staying healthy and avoiding injuries, so Squats and lunges are good exercises for improving your balance. And if you're having trouble balancing on gym equipment, straps can help stabilize your position while you exercise.

3. It Builds Muscle Mass

Weightlifting doesn't just bulk up the muscle—it also creates fibre type, which grows new muscle tissue in the body. So even if your goal isn't to weight loss or gain, using gym equipment weights will still result in muscle growth over time.

4. It Improves Cardio Performance

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a great way to add cardio into your routine without going crazy on the treadmill or elliptical machine. It involves cycling between moderate- and high-intensity minutes for 20 minutes per workout, meaning every minute counts!

5. It Reduces Injury Risk

Strength training results in better joint mobility by strengthening ligaments and fascia around joints, which reduces the risk of injuries when jumping rope or doing other low-impact exercises like squats and calf raises.
