Frank Gore will play for his hometown team next season.
According to informed sources, the veteran running back signed with Miami dolphins for a year.
34-year-old Gore was born in Miami and spent his college career at the University of Miami.
Since being selected by 49 people in San Francisco in 2005, Gore has been one of the most stable back runners in the league. In 13 seasons, he has had more than a thousand yards in 9 seasons and he has scored at least 960 yards per season in the past 7 seasons. Gore scored a total of 14026 yards and 77 touchdowns during his career, averaging 4.3 yards per rush
NFL Coins. He only needs 75 yards to surpass Curtis Martin to become the fourth player in the history of the league.
Gore can still contribute outstanding performance. When he played at the Indianapolis Pony last season, despite the poor performance of the offensive line, he continued to be able to push the ball forward. He may not be able to finish 80 yards to reach the touchdown, but he can still serve as the main force.
Dolphins have been looking for veteran running backs with Keryan Drake in the offseason after they met DeMarco Murray.
