When buying paper on a budget I find it wise to consider what is necessary and what is not. Sometimes to get the price you want you have to sacrifice quality. sqaured paper

Deciding what you want will help you establish a budget. Let's quickly talk about budget. How much do you want to spend and how much have you got to spend. If you are looking at buying reams upon reams of paper is it worth buying in bulk from a wholesaler or distributor as opposed to a shop?

When getting prices and quotes for paper I feel it is wise to give the business owner a rough guide as to how much you are looking to spend, this way they will be able to tell you what they can give you for that price, saving you the time and hassle of having to go through multiple brands and types of paper.

Finding paper is not a problem but knowing who to buy off can be. I would recommend you ask local businesses, friends and family who they buy there paper off. I always like to know who I am buying off and find that using through using referral and recommendations you can find out which businesses are recommended and which ones are not. On this area Do you know who you are buying your paper from and does it matter? Do you prefer to buy from business that has a physical premise or is an internet business OK for you. Deciding where you are comfortable buying from is a decision that should be made early on in the buying process. Now let's quickly move onto colours and sizes. Dependant on what size, be it A4, A3 or A5 size, and colour paper you are after and of course how much you want will all influence the price you will end up paying. Bulk prices will no doubt be cheaper, but you have to consider do you want or even need lots of the same sort of paper or will it just be a waste of your money.

When buying any type of paper I always like to shop around before hand to make sure I am getting the most for my money. I always find it useful to haggle on prices, as nobody wants to pay over the odds. Just remember that the more individual your paper requirements the more you are going to have to pay.
