And most of the time, balancing all of this, becomes the biggest work of all and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed at times. 2) iHomework- get homework help: Now, this is more of an organizer and planner. It’s very easy to lose track of deadlines and due dates when you have a hectic schedule.

This app helps you organize all your work and sets alarms to make sure everything gets done on time. And as the name suggests, it’s only for iOS devices.

3) Got it to study: The main subjects focused here are math, physics, and chemistry. This app has an AI-powered equation solver that solves the problems when you post a picture of it.

The best part is, it also has the option of contacting a live tutor via text, who can guide you through the subject. It’s available for android and iOS devices.

4) Wolfram|A|lpha for Mobile: This is a paid app but is worth it. This app will give you answers to virtually any math problem under the sky.

Available for iOS and Android, it has high-school and college-level math and doesn’t support photo equation solving, but will give you a step-by-step workout process.

5) HwPic: This is a free tutoring app, for iOS and android, but certain services will require payment. Students just need to post a picture of what needs to be solved and one of the many tutors available will post back a detailed solution, within minutes.

6) Photomath Camera Calculator: Similar to Socratic, this is an equation solving app that lets you take pictures of the problem. It’s a free app available for both android and iOS. It provides a stepwise workout of the problem.

7) Slader: This app is more of a forum, where high-schoolers and college students post questions and get peer-reviewed answers, mainly on science and math.

It’s a free app and is currently available only on the app store for iOS devices. This app lets you have discussions with other students, which is a great way to learn new things.

8) Homework helper: This is a free app, released by a Chinese company, for both android and iOS devices. Similar to many other apps, it lets the students post a picture of the problems on an online forum.

But the bonus here is that whoever answers questions can collect “e-coins”, which can be used on the website to buy electronics. This initiative motivated students to work-out problems.

9) SparkNotes: Most of the apps are for science and math, but this app is designed to make English literature and philosophy, easier for you.

We’ve got to admit, English is not an easy language and there have been times when it has left us baffled. This free app for iOS and Android help with your English homework.

10) iFormula: Lastly, this free Homework Helper app, for iOS devices helps you choose the right formula for a particular problem. Choosing the right formula is usually the bigger challenge.
