Answered this call as I was expecting a call from someone in NYC. Turns out to be a scammer. Call went like this:

Scammer: "This is the computer guy." (in heavy Indian accent). Me: "Which computer guy?" Scammer: "The computer guy that fixed your computer." Me: "Which computer?" Scammer: (long pause as he read the script) "Your HP computer." Me: "I don't have an HP computer." Scammer: "Then why don't you hang up the phone?" Me: "Because I want to talk. "
This went on for about 10 mins. I figured if they are going to waste my time, I might as well enjoy it and waste his. One thing is for certain: the quality and intelligence of these scammers is down significantly over the past couple of years. They absolutely cannot think for themselves and need to follow a narrow script. Apparently, if you don't release the call by hanging up it will keep their phone connected -- so party on and catch up, and keep these vermin from calling their next would-be victim.
