Most online bookmakers offer a variety of Tote bets these days and we're going to take a look at some of them. When you bet on the Tote you are putting your stake along with all the others placed into a pool of money, which is shared (minus a percent for the Tote for operating the pool) out between bettors who placed a winning bet.

You can place single bets, place singles and each/way singles, on the Tote but the prices will vary from the starting price. The tote does offer some more exotic bets, where the total money in the pool can reach the tens, or even the hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Here are some of the Tote bets available:

Tote Exacta

With the exacta bet you forecast the two horses that you think will finish first and second in a race, in the correct order. You can also reverse the two horses to finish in any order (2 BETS) as well as being able to place a number of horses in a combination

Tote Trifecta

With this bet you select three horses to finish first, second and third in the correct order in handicap races of eight runners or more. Combination bets can also be placed where multiple selections can be made to finish in any order.

Tote Swinger

A relatively new bet the Swinger is a type of forecast bet where there are 6 or more runners that pays whenever you have any 2 horses placed in first 3 places. You can place one bet of two selections or combinations. A winning bet is when your selections finish first and second, first and third, or second and third.

Tote Placepot

The placepot bet requires you to pick horses that are placed in the first 6 races at any UK race meeting. Places are calculated as 1 - 4 runners - situs togel online selection must WIN. Races of 5 - 7 runners your selection must finish in first 2. In a race of 8 or more runners - your selection must finish in first 3. Handicap races of 16 runners or more and your horse must finish in the first four. If your selection is a non-runner then your horse is automatically substituted for the favourite. In the event of their being joint favourites the horse with the highest racecard number becomes your selection.
Single bets of one horse per race or any number of combinations can be selected.

Tote Quadpot

Same type of bet as a placepot except it's for the third fourth fifth and sixth races at any meeting. It's seen as a consolation bet to be done if your placepot selections go down in the first coupe of races. Pools tend to be quite small except at big meetings.

Tote Jackpot

Similar to the placepot but you have to pick the Winner in every one of the six races from a selected meeting. Jackpot payouts can be huge and can total hundreds of thousands of pounds.
