Floating Foundation - Principles, Construction Steps

The Floating foundation is a form of basis that's constructed by excavating the soil and earth strata in one of these manner that the burden of the structure built on the soil is almost identical to the overall weight of the soil excavated from the ground along with the burden water inside the soil before the construction of the structure.

A Floating Foundationis also known as a balancing raft and reasons 0 settlement to the structure over it. In short whilst the muse isn't always supported via rigid soil mass or rocky strata below the earth’s surface and it rests completely over the soil much like friction pile then this phenomenon of the foundation is termed as a floating basis.
