Final Fantasy XIV new Participant guide from mmotank

Final Fantasy XIV is among my favourite MMORPGs. We think it's one of the best MMOs ever created. It's an incredibly engrossing story, engaging battle, and is arguably among the most adorable MMOs around FFXIV Gil.

But some of its finest and unique attributes can also be difficult to stomach for a great deal of new and potential players, via a combination of ambiguous terms and intimidating depth. I am here now to tell you this doesn't need to be the case. We have dissected and jargoned FFXIV's unique systems so that it's a lot easier to digest for people still on the fence, and gamers alike.

And you definitely need to.

If you're still to pick up Final Fantasy XIV - perhaps you're still on the fence - do not forget that there's two week free trial available to take advantage of. It will allow you to reach level 20 inside the game, and give you a taste on what you can expect. You may download this free trial here.

There is also something to note if you determine you want to commit to buying Final Fantasy XIV. If you decided to pick the game up on Steam, you are going to be locked into just having the ability to buy future content - such as the Heavensward expansion - for the Steam stage; you will need a Steam secret of the expansion to be able to upgrade. However, if you get from someplace that doesn't require Steam, providing you with a standalone client, you'll be free to select up future articles from wherever.

There's absolutely no differences concerning the real game itself between every method of acquiring Final Fantasy XIV, but using Steam may restrict your ability to get a better cost.

With this out of the way, let's get onto the manual.

With the launch of this new Heavensward growth, it's never been a better time to pick up and try Final Fantasy XIV. Since obtaining the Heavensward content needs you to have finished the whole principal story line - a lengthy feat which includes going from level 1 to 50, then five spots worthiness of content - some players could be put off.

But Square Enix still stand with it ; like every other Final Fantasy game, FFXIV is a heavily story driven game; you need to understand what the hell is going on to really appreciate it.

That really doesn't though that the devs aren't going to offer new players a supporting hand. For one, every principal story quest has had its experience reward doubled, allowing gamers to easily reach max level and outside without having to sink time to sidequests and other means. There has been some high-tech gear added to the rewards, giving you a full collection of item level 110 equipment by the time you're done with it all.

Furthermore, new players will be granted priority access when using the Duty Finder - reddit ffxiv discuss's version of an example compilation, used for dungeons, raids etc..

And if you have some useful high-level friends, they are also able to boost you get through the instances with their powerful gear and abilities.
