Ferrari S.p.A., otherwise known as Ferrari, is the Italian luxury sports vehicle brand based from Maranello, Italy Adam Ferrari. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1938 from the Alfa Romeo production division due to the unsuccessful Alfa Romeo bid to win the convertible auto championship, the company quickly made its first automobile in 1940 and created its first Ferrari-bodied automobile in 1947. Ferrari later enlarged into different segments, such as racing, touring, performance and onscreen production. In 1960, the automaker became famous for the Grand Prix successes, which comprised the French GP and also the German GRP. The firm then entered to its Specialty segment, in which it once more showed up at the very prestigious events, such as the Geneva Motor Show.

Nowadays, many of Ferrari's older and more traditional cars are considered collector's items, in addition to works of art. The company produces several lines of prestige automobiles, such as the Ferrari 365 GTS, Ferrari California, Ferrari Enzo and Ferrari GT. Many of these cars have never been around a race track, as they were not supposed to do so. Ferrari automobiles are also used for professional races, as well. A major race that Ferrari participation has taken part to incorporate the Monaco Grand Prix, which will be a competition that showcases the very best of Ferrari craftsmanship and technology.

The organization's most popular vehicle is the Ferrari La Ferrari, or Ferrari FF. Designed by Pininfarina, the FF was meant to be a sportier, less flashy replacement for the famed Ferrari 250 Coupes which has been introduced in 1960. With the development of motor racing regulations, the engineers turned the FF to a sporty two-seater which may compete with automobiles of equal class. Production continued to the early'70s, once the new V12 Ferrari started to take its position in Formula One racing. As the V12 gained fame among Formula One teams, Ferrari made the decision to phase out the La Ferrari and release a modified version known as the Ferrari 4 seasons. The upgraded four-wheeler carried over some of the sportier components introduced together with the FF, such as wider fenders and a longer, lower nose.

A sporty, compact design was applied to the rest of the car, for example, body, that was again redesigned by Pininfarina and carried forward to the remainder of the sequence. Styling became one of Ferrari's trademarks, and it was clear that the engineers took great care in producing the lines and designs used on the vehicle. Many elements of the old sporty structure were retained, but complete the FF was modernized. A brand new engine was introduced to the show, and it was among the very compact and light weight that the company has ever generated. Due to this, the creation of the Ferrari name has continued in the present, even if the market was saturated by other sports car manufacturers.

After the automobile manufacturer decided to move into the racing arena, many thought they may be able to continue the tradition the original FF started so many years ago. Two cars were designed for the newly created Super GT championship show, the Ferrari 365 SP and Ferrari California. The SP was raced by the Guru Ferrari team, although the CA was entered by the ACO team. With motorists Mario Schumi and Jean Palmardon, both of whom were considered legends in their own right, it is safe to state that the Italian manufacturer will continue to offer a cutting edge performance car, for modern day supercar racing.

Many may simply consider Ferrari as being a different Italian brand. But it ought to be noticed that the FF was also introduced at the USA from Ford Motors, as an export series to compete in the GT racing course with Nissan. While the two manufacturers have long since abandoned these European-based races, they do collaborate today in the development of both Ferrari's new California established flagship and will generate a similar styled manufacturing to the one which was used in Japan during the past Super GT series occasions. Additionally, Nissan will create an all-wheel drive version of the California established Ferrari California, which makes it even more marketable in North America.
