Feeding Frenzy 2 is an excellent casual arcade game. Its controls are simple and intuitive, the levels and player characters are varied and well designed, and it is clear that having fun was more important than inducing frustration (as some arcade games implement in the name of "challenge"). This is not to say there will be no challenge or frustration, it is to say that casual fun vastly outweighs them.

I was pleased to find this is an arcade game that plays very well with a mouse. The overall design reminded me greatly of the aquatic evolution stage of "Spore", but with far more maneuverability and variety. "Spore" is quite plodding by comparison. Both games feature the satisfaction of eventually growing sufficiently to turn the table on former predators.

I cannot find any negatives worthy of mention. I recommend this be picked up in the PopCap bundle.. All Pop Cap's games are just perfect. Easy to learn, "plug & play" but, with increasing difficulty and clear instructions before every new thing to learn. Intense rythm, you are always clicking the mouse, no time to rest. Original, they can be based on anything else but they do their own way and with outstanding imagination. The right difficulty at the right time, to maintain the interest. Variated play modes. Ridiculous simple controls, usually just the mouse and their two buttons, some times the arrows pad is also neeced but, that's all. Very good music and sound effects....
Well, if you already played Zuma, you know what I mean but, they have other interesting titles and this is one of them.
Highly recommeded for casual tmes, when you are in a hurry and want to play just a bit or, for that "in between big games" time.. One of the best storylines in video game history, no doubt.. One of the best old and simple games I played back in the day. Still very fun!. The story is intriguing and engaging.
The gameplay is top-notch.
The music is fantastic.

It is the pinnacle of gaming.

. Nostalgia, oh, dear nostalgia, come into my loving arms... As a kid I used to play the demo of this as often as I could, downloading it every half a year or so. There are a few copies floating around the internet, but none of them reaches the quality of this little childhood gem. The mechanics are very smooth, and even though the story mode is not exactly hard to finish some of the levels do require a little bit of patience to get your first few bites. It's visually pleasing, I just love the cronch sounds (especially when eating the middle-sized fish), and the satisfaction of finally owning this thing is immense. Paid the full price and I'm not regretting a single cent of it, 11/10 would do again.. Literally bought this game because of nostalgia, It is still a pretty good 2D game tho. :). A.K.A. The Underwater Fatbas tard Simulator. It's a birrovva laff innit, mooch round underwater eating yer mates until you get to be a fatter you, capable of filling your fat face with even larger dinners, oblivious to the fact that if you keep this up for very long you are going to be so bloated you won't fit in the sea anymore, and people will start to make assumptions about you, e.g. you must be an American.
