A popular store bought mask is a clay mask. People who have oily skin and have issues with excess oil problems can find refuge in a mask that is primarily made from a clay base. The clay is applied to the skin wet and then dried over 15-30 minutes. During the drying time the clay helps to tighten the skin and thus, the pores then become smaller. There are many different formulas and mixtures on the market, and different clays can react adversely to different skin types. Be sure to check the clay type when you are purchasing a clay mask so that you get the right one.

Be sure when applying any facial beauty mask to do so to previously cleaned and dried skin, on both the face and the neck. All hair should be pulled back and out of the way as to not interfere with the mask.
