Our epoxidized soybean oil (ESBO) is a non-toxic, clear to yellow liquid that is used as a plasticizer and stabilizer in plastic materials, particularly PVC and its copolymers, to keep them soft and pliable. It is a low-cost secondary heat and light stabilizer that also functions as a co-plasticizer in flexible PVC applications. It is also used to disperse pigments and as an acid/mercaptan scavenger.
