Drop Jordan: a display of creativity at its best

The Stash x Drop Jordan is a collaborative effort by graffiti maestro Stash and experienced shoe marker Nike to rekindle the glories of a brand gone by. This particular project dusts off the cobwebs of the Air Classic BW of yesteryears and is a modern-day reincarnation of the vintage brand that incorporates a twist of contemporary street art alongside mainstream footwear design.

The Air Jordan 11 Win Like 96 artist has been practicing for countless years and Nike eventually took notice of his work back in 2003 when they enlisted him for their maiden partner project. After enjoying great success over the years, the partnership has gone on till date with the Stash x Nike Zoom Spiridon yet another hallmark of the pair’s ingenuity.

The Buty Jordan Sklep on the other hand channels a deep midnight, almost black, navy blue and is home to Stash’s trademark graffiti imprints which adorn the bottom contour alongside an embroidered vibrant blue arrow near the front edge. The subtle arrow replaces the Swoosh logo of the old BW model. This midsole then paves the way for a pitch black sole that takes up a small portion of the midsole and runs on to engulf the entire bottom of the shoes.

And at the point where the darker Cheap Air Max
greets the lighter upper, a bold blue colored Nike logo stands out and breaks the white lining that runs throughout the border of the two shades. Stan’s heel branding is prominently displayed along the tab of the heel while the insole itself offers a kaleidoscopic display of blue and white patterns that much resemble small graffiti spray cans.
