It has a good story and choices do matter. It was a lot of fun.. The best of the DA series, imo. The story-line is fantastic, the fight mechanics are challenging while still being fun, and the world and lore it builds up is rich and deep. I love the sheer amount of role-playing available. During character creation, you can choose your gender, look, race, class and origin. Each origin has a different start to the game. At each turn, you are given a multitude of choices - from your conversations with NPCs to much bigger decisions such as which faction to support, who to kill etc. (without spoiling anything). There are so many possible endings too! Last but not least, it has the best companions. Each has an engaging personal storyline and the party dynamics are hilarious with all the conflicting personalities. The game is very easily modded too, if you are interested in that.

Cons: Game is buggy (which is fixable by mods but you will still need to google search your way through some of the issues). Graphics are obviously outdated compared to newer games though it's not that bad. It's easy to pick the wrong choice because it's not clear what ends the conversation train.

I would still highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a good RPG, and especially to those who need character customisation, romance and\/or a rich story.. i loved dragon age origins. i played this game back in 09 and, i wanted to play it again for the feel of nostalgia. i must say that the story is still captivating and rivals many newer games. i would recommend this game to anyone who loves a good story plot. As there will be plenty of breathtaking moments.. I only want to say... this game is the best in the whole \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665ing world. I'm ready to play over and over. Even after 10 years the game remains in my heart.
