The latest italian firmware is I8910XXII2, i have already updated to it. all it adds is the ability to use the 5.1 surround sound feature without head phones. frame rate still drops.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2009 Does anyone happen to know why one of the 3G band was removed from the specs list? If any band was removed most likely its a US based 3G band since the two others are both European bands. there are US networks which it will work on but not fully.

The IMAGE STABILIZER in my unit is. more This is a known bug but not one that users usually talk about. the only option which has flash support for the camera is "no scene" and "auto focus" in my N86 8mp the flash can be turned on or off at will. there is no setting in this phone that can adjust this.

I think the image stabilizer can only be used when the flash is off. They did it that way, why? Probably because when the flash is on, the shutter is already in high speed so there is no need to be speed up). Just my guess. >_.
well definitely this phone is great but this phone is slowly getting old, I hope Samsung will first stop creating new phones so that this phone will not get old to much.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2009 Symbios brother, what is the use of hard reset ?? Hard reset sets ur phone back to default before any issues/problems occured. this usually solves my issues also.
Using the symbian based music player, its not possible to adjust the equaliser or the DNSE. but the is a way to adjust the sound quality. just read few old post.

If u dont wanna go through any of that just download TTpod or PowerMP3 or LCG Player.
Can we download yahoo or any other messengers on omnia Hd . does it work ?
Unfortunately i havent seen that game yet. and this phone is able to run most Ngage games like metal slug, prince of persia, i havent yet seen a metal gear type game yet though. but i'll run a search and get back to. the HD and Omnia II are both two amazing phones give or take a few strengths and weaknesses. the Omnia II manages to incorporate the same 3.7" screen with a smaller and lighter body, its also thinner than the i8910 HD. it has Winmo which is always being updated and improved so in relation to having support u cant go wrong with the Omnia II. The only thing that the i8910 HD has over it is the 8mp camera and HD video recording. i'm not a fan of winmo but aince this is a non baise community i'll give the Omnia II the win!
how you seen the metalgear in iphone. is there any game like that in HD thanks.

I guess you definitely need good capacitive touch screen. So, choices will be down to LG latest models, i phone, HTC HD2 and this omnia HD (samsung also have some other capacitive screen phs such as beat dj). Again, I m not sure whether u need smart os. If you need smart ph with good enough apps, excellent all in one hardware specs, then omnia HD will be most suitable. If you dont mind some drawbacks of iphone, then take i phone bcoz its apps are really alots. Finally, if you just wanna go for nice design with good screen, LG new chocolate is good. my 2 cents advice, :)
