Older version, 3.81 is excellent. I keep nearly all appointments in this program.

Will not update to the latest version without receiving an error "The signature of EfficientReminder-Setup.exe is corrupt or invalid. The only option is to "delete". There is no way around it; So I am forced to take that option (Delete), which terminates the install process.

Takes a little to get used to the way recurring events are cancelled

Pretty much said it all. The con for the recurring events bit is not a problem and as said just takes a few uses to get familiar with. Otherwise I would not have put any cons in there.

What is the con for recurring events? They don't seem to work for me, and I can't find anyway to fix it. I create a recurring event, it reminds me 1 time, I dismiss reminder, and it never reminds me again. Event is still in calendar. If I modify the event and save, then it will remind me again (once).

It is very nice and easy-to-use.

None at this time, and I don't have any problem as the last comment.

It is a very exellent reminder software. It can manage my all oppintments and remind me my best friends' birthdays. I never missed anything now.

The program seems pretty straight-forward, easy to use so far.

When I downloaded it, I got a bunch of junk that came with it- AVG search bar, some fundraising search add-on from the ASPCA. There was a screen about it when I downloaded the program, and I thought I declined to have it installed, but somehow, it just all showed up.

It took me awhile to disable and/or uninstall, but now I'm also having weird stuff happen like about 50(!) .exe files will just start updating at once and fill up my taskbar- I had to reset to get those to go away. And sometimes, when I'm not even using my internet browser, it will just open itself and a new tab will be open with a spammy-looking URL, but nothing loads.

I'm pretty irritated about it, given that CNET's usually pretty trustworthy. They should have at least made the option to not get all this crap more obvious, since I'm pretty internet-savvy and even I missed it.

I totally disagree with your comment. I have used this software for several moths, and never met these problems before. Or you can download it from the official website.
