I have requirement to pass one variable from one site to another site In oracle ucm using idocscript.
I am not sure about post. try this.

when you go to app2 from app1, you can pass the variable in URL.
Is there any way to pass parameters in post method?

Another option is to set and retrieve cookies. You can set the cookie in app1 using javascript and read this using idoc in app2.
