Now, that we have started talking about the game lets go to the storyline. As in the anime, you wake up late and when you go to Prof Oak you will not have any poke'mon but Pikachu to choose. Oak will give you 5 poke'balls and a poke'dex for your quest. Make sure you pick Pikachu because there is a girl at the top end of pallet town that will not let you go unless you have a poke'mon with you.
