What is Documentum?
The Documentum system was developed by John Newton and Howard Shao in 1990, in order to solve the problem of disorganized content using relational database technologies. Documentum software also helps convert paper documents into application-ready files, saving the user a great deal of time, cost, and effort. The Enterprise ECM system is used to manage the content of other applications throughout the organization, such as ERP, CRM systems, and portals. In addition, Documentum provides organizational information, where you can easily view, edit, or update any document shared with you through the Documentum system.
