Kyle Anderson, the youngest Australian to play professional darts, passed away on March 29, 2020. His illness was caused by COVID and he spent a month in self-isolation, but he did not need to be hospitalized. It is unknown whether he was aware of his health condition at the time of his death, or if he knew that it was declining. Anderson began his darts career in 2006 and switched to PDC in 2012. He is survived by his wife Tara and son Charles.
