So people have discovered specifically through the opening up of research that cannabis is this multifaceted plant and so usually when you are consuming it predominantly through smoking inhaling with a joint or some other form factor the plant how the plant grows naturally is going to contain terpenes cannabinoids Buy Terpenes and flavonoids and when you consume it kind of as the plant was grown and intended in that genetic or that strain that's the entourage effect because it's getting all of that plant goodness kind of in one inhalation in one setting and so some people argue that the entourage effect is the most medicinal if you've shopped with restart cbd before you'll know that we don't really exclusively promote that I think it's very situationally and it depends what you're taking it for what your preference.

Then not on this slide but on the next slidei'll highlight how many flavonoids there are but there's a reduced number of flavonoids but you know let's say there's over 200 of these compounds in the plant depending on what strain depending on what consumption method you will have different percentages of those and so unfortunately it's not that i think you'll ever get to i'm gonna have two percent of this and ten percent of that and and really truly know what that's doing in your body but it can help guide you to say hey i really like this cannabinoid with this combination of terpenes and flavonoids this is producing True Terpenes the best effect for me and what i'm taking cannabis for and so to precurse everything it's really important to and i talked about this in the how to shop for cbd Discussion which was our first Discussion so if you were in that Discussion thanks for joining our second oneand if you haven't and you're curious i went way more in depth on the endocannabinoid system as a good just like again foundation but just to highlight for this conversation the reason that these cannabinoids terpenes and flavonoids work is because your body has an endocannabinoid system and you have a cb1 receptor and a cb2 receptor i'm pointing to my stomach and you can kind of see where the cb1 receptor touches versus the cb2 receptor and kind of what is associated to some of those receptors.
